Newport Hospital CT Suite

Newport, RI

The Brown University Health (Lifespan) Newport Hospital CT Suite Project involved the renovation of an 800 square foot space to accommodate the first dual source CT machine in Rhode Island. The project included the installation of all new finishes, wall protection, and significant mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades essential to support the advanced technology of the dual source CT machine. Initially, the project’s design was not viable due to existing hospital infrastructure obstructing the proposed routing. AACC collaborated closely with the architect, engineers, and hospital staff to find a workable solution. Despite these challenges, including maintaining a sterile and operational environment during construction and coordinating subcontractors, the project was completed before the grand opening. The result was a state-of-the-art CT suite that enhances the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities and patient care.
