From high precision scans of existing conditions, to 3D hoisting plans, 4D Project Schedules, and complex energy models BIM is much more then 3D design. AACC will work with the project’s architects and engineers during the pre-construction phase in order to coordinate the architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical components of the building. It is a common misconception that running software such as Navis Works or a similar clash detection software will solve all potential coordination issues; however a computer system can only evaluate a set of criteria pre-determined by the operator, AACC’s Professional provide the critical aspect of understanding the constructability of the entire structure, which ensures that the software evaluates the proper criteria. AACC further utilizes BIM and VDC for shop drawings and virtual mockups. The 3D modeling information we generate is also used be used to publish two dimensional coordination drawings for field use.
