Description:
Interior fit out (new construction) of a community restaurant within a previously constructed multi-use building in water place park consisting of major slab demolition for installation of underground plumbing. Selective demolition of exterior façade. Construction of a twenty-foot bar consisting of a monolithic concrete top with integrated drink rail with additional finishes consisting of matt black poured epoxy floor and decorative plaster finish troweled on walls to provide a Mediterranean appearance. Construction logistics consisted of operating equipment, daily construction activities and arranging deliveries around an occupied multi-story, multi-use facility in downtown Providence. Utility connections required coordination and access via an occupied multi-story sub grad parking garage for routing of electrical, communications, plumbing and water source HVAC piping back to main utility spaces or tie in points.
