AACC was retained by Foxwoods Resort and Casino to undertake an extensive renovation of the Great Cedar Casino, launching a digital and interactive gaming arena. The renovation was aimed at enhancing the gaming experience for patrons, while upgrading the overall aesthetic and functionality of the casino. A key feature of the renovation was the creation of the 9,000 square foot “PLAY” Arena, designed to provide players with dynamic and immersive gaming experiences. The new arena inquired a new high speed slots floor with hundreds of new machines and an upgraded high limit lounge. An important aspect and challenge of completing the job was the removal of a large waterfall structure prior to the renovation. The original project timeline of 10 weeks presented as an aggressive schedule, everyone on the team worked tirelessly and efficiently while collaborating closely with Foxwoods to ensure that all aspects of the PLAY arena was completed to the highest standards. Through coordinated efforts and exceptional project management, the team successfully completed the renovation two weeks ahead of schedule, meeting the critical 4th of July holiday deadline.
